HAPPY HUNGER GAMES

Happy Hunger Games! Wish I could have gone to the midnight premiere last night, but it was completely sold out! I'll have to go this weekend instead - maybe multiple times.  Can't wait to see it brought to the big screen! Are y'all as big of a fan as I am?

DREAM WEAVER

Spotted the pretty Kate Spade clutch while browsing through their website (during my Psych class - whoops!).  Now, of course, there's nothing more that I need for spring/summer.  Well, that's a total lie; I've got a long list of must-needs. But one of these woven/wicker/rattan clutches is making it's way to the top.  They remind me of wicker chairs on front porches and picnic baskets - and what's more summery than that?

ADIOS Y VAYA CON DIOS

So sorry about the lack of posting this week/weekend/last week, etc.  Things got a little crazy, and I feel like I'm running as fast as I can just to keep my head above water.  (Does that even make sense?  I'm so tired I'm mixing my metaphors).  Instead, I'll be wishing and dreaming I was back in Mexico, staring at that gorgeous water (the middle picture is the view from the back porch of the house we stayed at.  I know right?).  And, of course, eating my weight in guacamole and drinking nothing but things that started with the letter M (....like margaritas, mojitos, and mai tais!).  Hope everyone else gets a few seconds to breathe as well this week, and hopefully I'll be back on my game in no time.

PEP IN YOUR STEP

Peplum seems to be everywhere lately, from the runway to street style to the cute girl in my Spanish class.  I didn't have the chance to ask her where she had bought it (in Spanish, of course), so I've rounded up some of my favorites.  I would love to pair the Marc Jacobs one with skinny cropped jeans for a casual spring look, or the Stella McCartney with a gorgeous statement necklace!  Being the broke college student I am, however, it looked like the only pep I'll be adding to my closet this spring is in the form of that Alloy top, which comes in a myriad of different colors.  Who knows - maybe I'll get it in all of them!

It's Spring Break, y'all! I'll be absent from the blog for awhile because I'll be far too busy getting my tan on south of the border.  After a week of fun & sun in Mexico, I'll be back posting as usual!
